The Phoenix Corporation was selected by the City of Newport News as the firm most qualified to relocate Lee Hall Depot. Originally constructed in the 1880's, this historic structure is being lifted and moved across an active CSX rail line. Phoenix and Expert House Movers, our primary subcontractor, have teamed up to raise and/or relocate dozens of structures over the past several years. Phoenix is coordinating the move with the various agencies involved, and performing site preparations, demolition, structural stabilization, and installation of new foundations for the relocated structure.
